About Alaina Bowman

Alaina is 12 years old and has been dancing since she was 3. She dances competitively on the Thrive Dance Company Team in Evansville , Indiana . She trains in ballet, jazz , contemporary, lyrical , musical theater , hip hop , and tumbling . She also takes pilates at Club Pilates . Her favorite styles of dance are Ballet and Contemporary. She also loves to learn dance tricks.

Alaina is a Power Pak Alum , has won Miss Dreammaker at a Star Dance Alliance competition, she has competed for best dancer at the Dance Awards, and is a part of the MTM Mentoring Program .

Alaina models and was part of the “For the love of Dance “ project with Whitney Collins Photography . She has worked with Dent Models and has been published in their magazine .

Alaina’s dream is to dance professionally and to become a choreographer. When she is not dancing Alaina enjoys nature , reading , and traveling . She has been a part of the GenerationON club at school and helped write and illustrate a book for the Dolly Parton imagination library. In her travels she was able to take ballet classes in Paris, France . She is learning Greek and her next travel goal is to travel to Greece .

Alaina is so excited to be able to be a part of the SQUAD and is looking forward to learning and working with all the amazing and talented Refresh staff .
