About Peyton Barr

Peyton started dancing when she was 2 years old and currently dances at Hudson Dance Academy in Hudson, WI. At thirteen years old, she is in her 5th year of competitive dance. Her favorite style of dance is lyrical because it makes her feel connected to the movement and allows her to feel inspired and moved by the music and dynamics.
At Applause Nationals 2021, she was awarded a Stand Out Dancer award for her jazz solo and also went to Best of the Best for her group’s contemporary dance, and they won 1st place!
When Peyton isn’t dancing, she enjoys cooking/baking, fishing, waterskiing and tubing.
