Refresh "Squad" Dancer
At Refresh, all Mini, Junior, Teen and Senior dancers that are registered for the full workshop have the opportunity to be in SQUAD! Members of SQUAD will be called up on stage at the end of the closing showcase on Sunday afternoon. PLEASE NOTE: Dancers must attend ALL classes and wear their scholarship numbers.
Once you are a SQUAD member, you are not eligible to be a Squad member winner in another city for that year.
Refresh Squad Winners will receive:
- Refresh swag
- Assist Faculty at any Refresh Dance Convention in 2025
- Each squad member will be featured on the Refresh Website, Social Media
- Receive special discounts for all 2025 events
- One FREE solo to Applause Talent 2025 Dance Tour
Refresh Scholarships
In every regional city, each faculty member will be awarding scholarships to dancers that excel at their particular style in each of their individual classes. This will give students the opportunity to receive scholarships in all disciplines of dance: tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, ballet, etc. Scholarships can be awarded to any dancer in the Mini, Junior, Teen and Senior workshop levels. The number of scholarship winners may vary depending on convention size and skill level.
Applause Talent Dance Competition
Refresh dancers have the opportunity to win a solo scholarship to attend any 2025 Applause Regional of their choice. Applause Talent hosts competitions in over 30 cities in the United States, bringing along with it a great deal of fun, excitement, glamor and thrill that performers usually expect from a dance competition. The competition is organized at three different levels with more than $30,000 awarded at Nationals. At Applause Talent - Everyone Deserves A Round Of Applause!
Hollywood Dance Experience
Selected dancers will be awarded $500 scholarships to attend the 2025 Hollywood Dance Experience in Anaheim, CA this summer July 20-25, 2025. This amazing opportunity for dancers that are interested in taking dance to the next level. Hollywood Dance Experience is thrilled to bring the excitement of Hollywood to dancers across the world! Join the hottest teachers and choreographers that Hollywood has to offer while immersing yourself in the professional dance industry!
Master Teachers and Choreographers focus on offering dancers exclusive training, while giving professional insight into the Hollywood industry. Carefully chosen, these highly trained professionals are equipped to work with dancers from all ages and various dance experiences.
Along with amazing classes, HDE is excited to take you on an exclusive bus tour of Hollywood. Hollywood Dance Experience cannot wait to show you all the highlights of Tinsel Town, from the Hollywood Walk of Fame to the world famous Santa Monica Pier!
Hollywood Dance Experience also takes you beyond the Hollywood dance scene. Enjoy a full day at Disneyland, discovering all the opportunities the Magic Kingdom has to offer! Led by professional Disney directors and choreographers, this high-energy workshop gives dancers the opportunity to shine as they learn choreography adapted from a Disney production number exclusively for Disney Performing Arts!

The Fine Print...
- All REFRESH ages are determined as of January 1, 2025.
- Dancers' scholarship numbers are generated for each specific age division, with all ages being as of January 1, 2025. Please review your Refresh registration to ensure that the correct birthdate is on file.
- Dancers ages 20+ are not eligible for any scholarships.
- All scholarships must be used before the expiration date printed on the scholarship voucher.
- Scholarships are not transferable.
