About Kevin Nguyen

Kevin Nguyen is an urban dance professional who travels the world through dance with his wife, Dea Nguyen. Together, they’ve taught dance classes, judged competitions, and performed in 24 countries and are on a mission to spread positivity and love with the worldwide community.

Kevin has over 15 years of dance experience and is technically trained in various styles including urban choreo, hip hop, ballet, jazz and contemporary.

Over the years, Kevin has worked with top music artists including BTS, Pharrell Williams, Paula Abdul, Dawin, and Amber Liu. Most recently, Dea and Kevin worked with Disney on a promotional campaign for Mary Poppins Returns and choreographed for Disney Channel and Amazon Prime Video star, Aubrey Miller’s, music video to her first original song, “Crossing My Heart." The pair choreographed and performed in Dawin's music video, "Shenanigans" and performed with Paula Abdul on her 2017 "Total Package Tour" with Cookies. He’s recently completed their 4th consecutive season performing, teaching and judging with World of Dance.

Kevin was recently featured in BTS’ music video, “Singularity,” as one of the first American back up dancers in a BTS music video. “Singularity” has gained over 79M YouTube views and earned him a spot as a panelist at KCON LA 2018, a short segment in the Ellen Show and the LA Times. Most recently, Kevin was welcomed as a new member of the world-renowned dance group, Kinjaz.

Kevin’s hope is to inspire and positively impact creatives to continue to hustle hard, stay consistent and be patient through their process.
